Men's Trekking
Clothes on, clothes off, waterproof on, waterproof off. This is the way to keep your body temperature on an even keel and protect yourself from rain, sunburn and wind chill factor. As always, the layering principal is the way to go, from base layer thermals such as the Icebreaker Bodyfit to a mid layer of trousers & shirt like the North Face Horizon Falls trousers and the Vulture shirt, a warm insulating layer such as the versatile Fuego jacket and a waterproof outer shell like the Hyvent jacket will cover most hiking & trekking. Your footwear will need to match the environment you are entering - for hiking and trekking in hot dry conditions you will need a fully breathable boot such as the Scarpa Hydrogen Mesh boot, for cold and wet you will need a breathable, waterproof boot - the Berghaus Explorer Light is a good choice. For steep awkward trekking consider a high ankle for maximim support. Of course your socks need to be suitable, look out for loop stitch and warmth rating.
